So for those who aren't into gaming or haven't been keeping up, TL;DR version is that Middle Earth: Shadow of War has DLC, people got pissed, and their posts about such topics on the game's Steam forum are deleted. All due to quite a few moderator, and one we'll focus here is Laptop65.

Recently, a Youtuber named IAmPattyJack exposed him, and many of the other moderators in an 11 minute video. In that video, you'll see a few posts by him, and like all lolcows here he freaked out and bribed him to remove the video claiming there is personal information on that forum.

And well... he was correct at there is personal stuff in that forums. Mainly threads of him both defending pedophilia and condemning homosexuality.

I also have to mention that he has a furaffinity account, and that account follows gay furry porn artists. I can't even make this shit up, even if I tried.

So in conclusion, this guy is either on so many levels of irony that mere mortals like us would never get it... Or more realistic, this guy has daddy issues and is mentally not there.

Ah yes, the shit storm that is Shadow of War's paid lootboxes for a SP game. I thought I'd see some lolcows out of it, but not of this type.

Also this shit, it seems to show that indeed the internet doesn't like to forget. Even if Laptop was asked by the developers to delete the paid DLC fiasco I don't know why he was hired with such a bad reputation.

Yeah, true. Quite a few Youtubers have been covering him as of late, so I thought you guys might have an interest with this guy.

Most definitely qualifies in my opinion:

1. He's a pedophile.
2. He's a furry.
3. He's a dick who likes to take his paltry amount of net power seriously.
4. He's a hypocrite. Hates gays, yet looks at gay furry porn.
5. He's a pedophile.

He's dumb enough to use his internet handle everywhere. And we know his real name, and that he probably lives in England based on his twitter information. A shame his twitter is protected though, because it's always interesting to watch them freak out live. Tyler Devereaux, you weren't that smart.
 
What a shame. I liked the first game. Ah well, it'll inevitably be humble bundle bargain binned.

I remember him going around begging for moderator status, repeated bans and warnings from valve's own team of moderators ruined his chances at being a global moderator.

He started being a wannabe moderator, getting into fights with users and pissing contests with real moderators. He then began spamming every new entry on steam with his "job submission", which is why he is moderator in many forums.

Pretty much the embodiment of the power hungry moderator stereotype if the moderator I talked to is to be believed, they told me they have to repeatedly clean up his ban tantrums and talked to developers about his moderator status.
