My understanding of it is that they are thinking of the ancient Egyptian Nubian dynasty(don't know much about it) so it's kind of like a counterpoint to the idea that "black people"(whatever that means outside of a modern western context) never created/ruled any major civilizations.
I'm pretty much guessing here but that is how I view it.

Well, I wanted to confront her in that beauty guru's video but I didn't want to use my normal account and it is too much of a hassle to create another one. I wanted to tell her that she was appropriating Japanese culture.

Well, as an example, Zimbabwe did in fact force white farmers off the land, distributing it to black subsistence farmers. There were willing sellers, but not many. Violence of course happened. Now the problem of forcing the farmers off and giving it to subsistence farmers is that they lacked the experience of running the "white" farms. So, this had an effect on the economy.
This is just what I'm thinking about now, but whether or not it compares to her beliefs may or may not be the case. Burning down ANY business might have a huge economical impact.
