So Gail is a better espionage agent than Jace and Eli combined.

If nothing else, she at least clearly knew what she was doing by not reporting the car as stolen since she got it right back a few days later.

Y'know, that's kinda the sad thing about all this. When you live with a family for a while or you're especially tight-knit, either-or, you get to know everybody else's habits. My mother knows I leave most mornings to go to the gym and that I tend to hang out there when I get sidetracked by the music I bring with me. Everybody in the house doesn't feed the fish because they know I'll take care of it first thing in the morning.

It's like this guy's jackassery is one of those little family rituals.

Are you implying that she thinks Jace is actually worth more than the car? Because in that situation the car would be totaled since Jace would certainly try some stupid shit from a video game/get PIT manuvered by cops and end up crashing in what we could only hope is a sequence of events similar to the car chase from The Naked Gun

I dunno, I imagine there's more than a little credence to the fear that he might try something stupid in an adrenaline-fueled panic like waving around his Deagle or something and promptly getting shot, or that said "stupid shit from a video game" includes a sprint into oncoming traffic or just ramming the cops at full speed, since that always works in Need for Speed or something.

Though I suppose they could be kinder and try tasing the feeb with a toy handgun...

IIRC all the recent NFS games that have cops not only give them Middle East grade sportscar cruisers (we're talking Lambos and McLaurens) and have a realistic physics damage system, so Jace will probably think he's got the edge as long as the Saudi Arabian PD doesn't show up!

Luckily, I think it's safe to say Jace is dumb enough to not know to disguise the orange tip on the gun barrel, which is the international dead giveaway of a toy gun. Usually.

The deagle has no orange. The one that looks like a golck but I haven't seen it close enough has one and I don't remember about his CO2 1911.

Then the deagle is illegal. Toy gun laws in the US are insane (for good reason) in that basically anything that turns into remotely realistic guns must have orange barrels. Including this one which is small enough for other Transformers to use.

Airsoft guns without orange barrels are sold everywhere around here. Even I own airsoft guns without them. So I doubt they are that illegal here. (I live kinda near Jace in New England.)
