All performance and crashing issues are resolved with the re-elected version.

Tell you what, I went to the high seas again to obtain re-elected and it also ran like crap.
Then I figured I might try something

Turns out that, for SR4, this motherfucking Windows decided to completely ignore the fact that this PC has got a GPU
After fixing that, I'm playing GotC (GOG) and the game is physically unable to dip below 120 fps

It was fun but it wasn't Saints Row. Basically if Volition released Saints Row 4 but with the Agents of Mayhem branding it would fit perfectly. It's not Saints Row but it is a good superhero game.

It woulda been way better than Agents of Mayhem that's for sure

I think it's good that Saints Row IV has a basis in Saints Row The Third because it means that the game doesn't need to put much time into establishing and elaborating on characters
With a new IP, you'd have all sorts of backstories and stuff, detracting from the action - especially with how shitty the average writer is nowadays

AoM is just boring as fuck. I quit an hour and a half in because I didn't feel like playing anymore. The concept of Cobra from GI Joe winning and taking over the world is interesting, but not really established well, and you can tell it's lower budget because the cutscenes are all those 2d slideshow things DLCs do.

should be, it's the same base code as long as you don't use bugfixing mods because they will conflict with teh game code.
on the discord they accepted the woke row isn't that great and now are pushing for mods to enhance the game but ignore the story, fucking lol.

as for EA, what I can say is that they are pretty chill sometimes. renegade X got the ok, iirc the only condition was to never take money for it (which wouldn't fly with a lot of "modders" and "content creators" these days).

I think it's supposed to be an homage to the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, which is fair enough on its own. But I do find it funny that the Jewish items are all part of the free DLC, but you gotta pay up if you want a full-sized, decorated Christmas tree. Really makes you thunk.

Yes, even if you bought the season pass which promises all future dlc's for free you still need to fork 10 bucks because the fine print said you had access to all future dlc's but the ones they can arbitrarily choose not to give you for free.
