Watched it myself. I liked it, first two acts were a bit mellow-dramatic but the third act was great. The ending was pretty well done and it gave me my favorite thing in Star Wars, X-Wings blowing shit up.

All in all it kinda felt like Where Eagles Dare or Guns of Navarone in pacing and direction, which is a good place to crib story telling from

In all seriousness, if you're going to go through all that trouble to make CGI Tarkin and Leia, why not just recast them at that point or write a script that doesn't need them?
