Lol no, get good scrub. I finished it on hardcore and other than some Ashley bullshit found it quite straightforward. Ammo was sometimes now but never empty
 
You know, I legit am dreading when talks of a RE5 remake start coming up (because we all know its inevitable at this point) because we know that journalists will be salivating at the mouth to begin to talk about OG RE5 on how its a "problematic" game and how Capcom must "fix it" in the remake. Like decreasing the number of black people being shot and you can forget having those native tribals, that section will be reduced, severely altered if not outright removed altogether.

Im sure they will talk about de-sexualizing Sheeva and if Chris shouldnt be replaced with Josh to avoid a "white saviour" situation (even tho it was team work that the game was all about, the literal final shot of the RPG is a team effort). I would say they are ruining Sheeva's limelight but what can you expect from these people ready to be offended for others?

RE5 still looks visually great to this day but I think people need to realise that it doesnt really matter to these suits.

Im starting to feel that remaking anything beyond 1 was kind of a double edged sword, a monkey paw situation.

Im curious and this goes beyond just you but everyone in this thread but you dont like Nathan because of his character or simply you didnt like an original character at this point in the franchise?

RE5 was already pozzed. There's randoms non niggers apart of the enemies in that which was idiotic when there was backlash from niggers complaining... that there's niggers in Africa or something.

I hope Capcom goes the other way and gives all the nogs in it have anatomically correct wide noses skulls that have no frontal cortex. I would play that game for hours just to blow their heads off with a shotgun.

Isn't RE5 explicitly set in the South Africa though? In real life there are whitoids there or at least the ones that haven't been raped or murdered yet.

You can't really pull back or play defensively like the OG. The enemies are so aggressive you pretty much need to be on offense at all times. Synthetic Man got fucked a bunch of times in his stream because he kept trying to play it like the 2004 version.

Also probably 70% of enemies will turn parasite head as opposed to 25% or so in the OG. Buy the flash bang recipe as soon as it is available from the merchant.

I will give it credit they didnt make this remake hold your hand or too easy to satisfy mainstream fucks

I know 6 got crazy but cmon the games even 1-3 were never that horror focused. You started weak but typically ended up strong due to new gear and game knowledge.

To be fair we saw the opposite before the release of 4 remake, people were complaining that it was supposedly going to dump the action movie stuff to be more scary. And yeah RE1 wasn't the scariest game ever even at the time but it and its remake was pretty firmly horror focused. The series has done horror and action well and has mixed them together well, people need to let each game do its own thing.
