They at least kept up the probable larp in the comment section but their post history is hidden like a coward. They have to at least be somewhat genuinely messed up to even know all these niche fetish things like 'primal fighting' and 'naturalistic pet play' tho, and theyre creepily excited about him being a vet for a petplay weirdo.

Also, given the foxing and damage to the book due to wear, that Hulu sticker is conspicuously new and undamaged. They didn't mention that though, interestingly enough.
I agree with you, I don't like advertising shoved on the cover of my books if I can avoid it. I don't think that's pretentious, especially if you appreciate good cover art. The Discworld books (where I took my name from), for example, have beautiful cover art and I'd hate to see that replaced with the LGBTreject cast of The Watch instead of Josh Kirby's or Paul Kidby's work. The book content's still the same at the end of the day.
