I remember a few years ago r/drama banned everyone who had ever been regularly active in r/teenagers with the message of "Underage." Cue thousands of people appealing the ban because they were actually middle aged, outing themselves as pedos in the process.
There's probably more pedos than actual teenagers on that subreddit.

Ot try and ask a question in a hobby or technical sub or something and it looks like it posts, it's an active sub, but you get no replies because you don't have whatever arbitrary number of faggot points for your post to be visible in this particular sub.
