Glad I have an excuse to post this picture of Robert Picardo again.

Yikes! That was a mistake, WB.

RLM videos bring interest to your shit that nobody cares about anymore and introduces it to a new audience. Way to squander an opportunity that could have only served to make you more money.

Islamic Content time : I like Gremlins 2 and Ghostbusters 2 more than the originals, Gremlins 2 in particular I think is a far superior film because the concept of Gremlins is ridiculous to begin with and just ramping the entire thing to 11 like the Second Movie does fits them better.

I've come around on Ghostbusters 2 in recent years. I enjoy it as much as the first one. Always thought Gremlins 2 was better than the original though.

I agree with Mike and Jay that Gremlins 2 is just as good as Gremlins ... But they're so different from each other that it's hard to compare.

And while I most definitely prefer the original Ghostbusters movie, I still really enjoy the second one. I think it's underrated.

Plus, Ghostbusters 2 gave me one of my favorite pieces of dialogue ever:

Gremlins 2 is in alot of ways Gremlins 1 crossed with Airplane. The first one had jokes sure, but the second embraced the Zucker/Zucker/Abrahams methodology of "We are gonna pack the movie with so many gags that even if one doesn't hit you are onto the next one, and Gremlins as a concept I think fit into the role of "Here is a Horror Movie that we turn into a comedy by just packing it with a constant stream of gags" very well.

I think it's underrated.
I mostly just thing Vigo and the Slime are better antagonists than Gozer was and made for a better plot.

I'm rewatching last year's Halloween BOTW episode, where they all get drunk halfway through. Does anyone know what the origin was of the joke Mike makes about Jay killing a cat? I assumed it was a reference to the Cop Dog review, but I don't know how much Jay was involved in those.

Maybe a reference to this old video?:

I always liked Gremlins 2 for basically being a parody of Gremlins 1. I don't think one is necessarily better than the other. I just like that I get different experiences out of both films.

I am glad they're not dribbling over this like most critics have been, it's just a mediocre film with a bizarre lead performance. It feels like this was wished to be Travolta's Mandy except the film wasn't good like Mandy, but at least he's still trying.

There were points where Mike was defending it that I was flashing back to the first Nerd Crew.

"It's not a movie. It's an experience. It's not meant to be satisfying like a movie is. It's a mental illness movie. It's mean to accurately depict what mentally ill assholes are like."

But more power to them for finding the silver lining in the diaper.
