Also it’s funny this is a Zardoz episode because I got my dad into RLM despite him not liking weird obscure schlock movies, but he has always been fascinated with Zardoz despite not liking weird obscure schlock movies.
 
I like the prequel scores a lot but this track (which is pretty well known for being a remix of Palpatine's theme from ROTJ) is really derivative of Philip Glass' Serra Pelada from Powaqqatsi.

As a huge Philip Glass fan, I would say that that most tribal music in that area sounds like that, so I doubt it was any direct lifting of Glass's work, it's just using the standard sounds of that area. On that soundtrack you can tell the difference between flavor native music and Glass's minimalism. Like John Williams wasn't lifting Anthem: Part 2
which got reused in the Truman show.
