6 minutes in and I hate Wil Wheaton even more than I thought. Just making that after show a G4 Froskin level of setting fire to goodwill that the show was already destroying
You know he has an active tumblr account that he speeds politics on the same way? What comes across about Wil Wheaton in these clips -- and I honestly have no idea how context would help -- is that he is a massive, unbearable phony. There is not one word or expression or gesture he makes that comes across as genuine.
It's depressing seeing that NuTrek has made Mike give up on Star Trek to the point he can't even enjoy the originals anymore. But it was a long time coming.
It's truly amazing how hatred of Will Wheaton unifies people. I still believe Mike is on here browsing the forums and calling Rich gay every now and then. The continued mocking of Will Wheaton is the best.

Same for me and the last two episodes of Game of Thrones. I knew going into it that the final season was going to be a trainwreck, and rather enjoyed it in the moment from that perspective, but didn't expect to come out of it with zero desire to rewatch even the first 4 seasons. I tried and I can't.Mike's reaction was a pretty good description of how I felt walking out of The Last Jedi.
I'm not surprised, I think a lot of people thought Patrick Stewart was a much smarter person than he was because of how he played Picard in the old series and seeing this now just makes you realize how much of a generic Hollywood tard he really is. William Shatner, as goofy as he is, is probably a more mature and complicated person than Patrick Stewart. It's depressing seeing that NuTrek has made Mike give up on Star Trek to the point he can't even enjoy the originals anymore.
