Way to miss the point of Frank Oz's comments. He was saying the sexuality doesn't matter and has nothing to do with the show.
 
It really shows the mentality and emotional maturity of these people when they're getting up in arms over characters from a show for preschoolers.

Did you see on Twitter that someone called Frank Oz homophobic to his face? (His response: "WHAT?!?!?!!?!")
 
I wish we could have a thread on "Extreme disability advocates" aka everything is ableist. Not necessarily only from people on tumblr since there are many of them out there but I think there are enough content to form one.

This is SIR. IF you don't know SIR, he's the one that does the/fit/ comics every new year that chronicles a lot of memes and shit. His tumblr is honestly entertaining because he's pretty chill.

I agree with the Mark Hamil thing only if you can keep it to yourself. But you can also respect the creator's word as well. I've always seen B and E as a gay couple and imo they're a gay couple but you know. They aren't my characters and if Frank Oz says Bert isn't gay, then I have to respect that. It's that simple. They'll always be gay to me but hey, that's my opinion in the end.
