Tumblr can circle right back around to being fun again as long as you gleefully stop giving a shit about their little games and made up rules. Its very funny when they try to force you into compliance by saying something milquetoast youre doing is actually heccin transphobic only for you to not actually give a shit if someone thinks youre transphobic or not, and ive also never actually read a DNI in my life.

Its also very funny to see obvious tumblr users try to pull this shit on other platforms like tiktok or instagram reels comment sections only to have an army of 15 yo shitlords from the hood take the piss out of them. And its a lot more difficult to virtue signal on those platforms because unless they have art/editing skills to create visuals everyone is able to see that theyre fat and weird.

Anyone can join a circle of radfems or whatever, the problem is that if you become established in some hobby space or fandom you risk losing a lot of people you enjoy talking to blocking and cutting off contact. Yeah I know, you shouldn't care about followers and social media stats and all that but humans are imperfect and once you have established that social connection the idea of losing it because you said the nigger word feels bad.

I don't see trans people as the gender they identify with, I also don't hate them or think they deserve the treatment the internet gives them. I've tried looking at those terf blocklists to maybe find people on the same wavelength but everyone there is just a time capsule to 2016 tumblr talking about men.

There's no real consequence for saying something to a stranger in the replies of some random post because it doesn't show up on your profile (and if you're disagreeing with the masses you're hopefully smart enough to have anon asks turned off) but by then anyone considering you a failed troll would be right.

I don't know how I feel about troons. The human body and brain are complicated. I was initially pushed to anti trans places due to a mixture of hating the gender stereotyping going on, occasional retarded biological claims and the reactions I got when I mentioned certain things, but the treatment they get is utterly horrific. Kiwifarms has probably done more to make me "pro trans" than the average insufferable tumblr troon ever will because they show that the sort of paranoid stalker they talk about actually exist. Anyone remember that one poster on here who made some sort of anti trans guide that included reading an anti trans book on the train and dramatically nodding along to signal to strangers

Anti trans bias being anti male bias is only true for liberal places, rightwing transphobes echo the same beliefs about women they accuse troons of having. If it makes you feel any better I think troons are, on average, worse than normal men by several orders of magnitude. All the traits that can make an individual man potentially dangerous to women (entitlement complex, full of resentment/rage issues, no respect for boundaries, personality disorders, sexually dysfunctional, etc.) are running at full throttle in AGPs.

I’m far more likely to profile a tranny as high risk than some random guy whose behavior isn’t displaying any red flags. I bet most conservative women would agree, and I doubt you could accuse them of being a bunch of man-hating feminists.

The “trying to escape femininity” narrative is so dominant now because young girls are highly overrepresented among minors identifying as trans (and inevitably, detransitioners).

I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s rare that pooning out is associated with trauma, but IMHO what really fuels it (aside from mental illness, social contagion, and/or porn addiction) is that they pathologically hate themselves. This includes the fujoshis, who have a very weird form of internalized misogyny going on. That being said, I don’t think anyone is obligated to feel endless sympathy for gross, contemptible grown adult women with no self-respect even if they did get molested.
