honestly her being called Ivy works to well as ivy often grows on trees hurting them and the anime has strangled a lot of the more serious plot lines the games have started making (serious for a E rated game)

But it also seems like a monumental waste of time, the only kind of thing Chris will work hard for.

Like when he made +200 fake email accounts to stuff the ballot on the Parappa the rapper contest, but on the other hand couldn't be arsed to take an hour or two (or a day, as he is a dense motherfucker with nothing better to do) to learn the fucking lyrics.

Apparently, on Pokemon he routinely makes alternate saves (under Barb's name) and you can bet he 100% the game on them. He also wasted an astoundingly stupid amount of time on Animal Crossing with the same shit:

This video is notable for introducing the Animal Crossing versions of both Bob and Barbara. This wouldn't be exactly damning if they had been created just for this video special, but it appears that the characters have fully decorated houses of their own...and the house loans have been fully paid up (signified by the statues in front of the train station). Fully paying up the house loan takes an incredibly long time in game - and this video shows that he's done it at least four times.

It looks like he's sort of reading the lyrics off-screen but he wrote it super small and couldn't read it. If he couldn't remember the lyrics he could have at least written them on bigger on a poster board or something *shrug

I want to say while it's great he's being optimistic because watching Chris be depressing or Social justice isn't that fun to watch so I'm kinda glad at that fact he's being somewhat normal and optimistic. but as soon as he mentions the stupid merge shit I immediately think "you were doing so well then you threw it all away for your stupid fantasy bullshit." at this point I will pay money to whoever can get him back to his old self.

This is another example of the dedication I love to see. Excellent job!

As far as Chris watching Game of Thrones goes, Danaerys would shatter his theory about men being the people who are always "causing wars and such" and we also don't want him thinking he has a dragon he can ride. There is too much dick on that show for Chris to enjoy it, anyway.

Chris wouldn't understand anything, being dumber than Hodor. He would probably enjoy Cersei and Jamie's relationship unioronically.

Autists will absolutely throw hours into grinding for video game achievements. Video games track and show your progress. They're usually linear. If you get stuck, there's guides telling you exactly what to do. If you can't pass something you can grind and become more powerful. You become someone important very quickly. Real life offers none of these.
