Even if Sonic's arms are not blue, it still has the potential to trigger Chris. Check what people write on Twitter - they haven't seen Sonic's design yet, but are very concerned about his eyes (too hedgehog-y, not cartoonish enough). Saw some complaints about the arms too. Whatever Chris does, someone will surely be very vocal about the appearance of a CG hedgehog. Not surprising, since Sonic fanbase is 100% concentrated autism.

If you look at the image close up, the arms are furry/hairy like the rest of the body seems to be. If the arms were canon tan, then methinks they'd be smooth. Thems some blue arms. Now all I want for Christmas is a Chris chimp-out.

Pretty sure Chris will demand that Paramount Pictures withdraw and re-release the Sonic movie at some point. It may not be a 2014 blarms-tier chimp-out, but considering how emotionally invested in Sonic he's been his whole life, I can't see him being able to reign in his autism on this.

If I remember correctly, Chris’ chimp out over blue armed Sonic wasn’t an isolated thing. Rather, a lot of autistic people hated the color change.

It’s one thing for them to sperg online (or in GameStop) but it’ll be another thing when you cram a bunch of them in a movie theater.
