Nope not even count graduon. He stole the idea of the villian being on/inside a magic staff and controlling another villian (in this case Mary Lee walsh) as a puppet villian from his childhood movie, American rabbit. Maybe you might be able to say that one was a homage since American rabbit is still something of a forgotten obscure 80s animated movie and count graduon does have some of his own traits that make him a character in his own right. But Chris still took the concept switched it around a little and tried to pass it off as his own.

Yep he bought a few RE games, 1 (both physical and from PSN), 2, 5, The Darkside Chronicles, Umbrella Chronicles, 6, Revelations (both on 3DS - but it could have been just the demo - and for PS3).
But his PS3 trophies show that like most of the games he owns he didn't play/barely touched them, the most he did was finishing chapter 1 of RE 5.

I think it's more probabile that he learned that bit of trivia from a video games magazine and it stuck with him. And I don't want to rain on his only good joke, but it's always possible he stole it from someone else.

I think it was house tour 2 or 3 where a lot of the comments included "this resident evil 7 demo has great graphics" since like re7 it was filmed in Chris's pov and a lot of it was like the gameplay. Chris even opens a fridge full of mold almost exactly like the black mold all over the baker house. The point is Chris's desperation will no doubt make him connect everything he can to the realm of fiction.


Too bad it's Sunday and afawk Chris hasn't been anywhere near that Richmond Convention.
