Ps2 slim grinding noise. - It's driving me nuts!

My ps2 makes grinding noise when I play video games, is there any way to fix this?

Headset or ear plugs. If you don't have anything along those lines just take something slim and sharp and jam it right into your ears.

The ps2 slim sounds awful, not as bad as a dreamcast, but it's up there.

I know I'm late but if it's scratching your disc, then it is the ribbon making the noise.
