Depends on which political side protestors are on. If you are conservative and walk escorted by police around the capitol then it's an extreme radical mob of rioters.

A gathering of liberals could behead Trump on television and be pardoned--if not awarded--for their mostly peaceful protest to save our democracy, so there's a bit of a difference between how protestors are viewed on each side.
