Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right and nothing about stupid fucking cartoons and fictional stories impacts reality or living, breathing people in any way. With all that said, most "antis" from what I've seen are literal teenagers with mental health issues who think the internet is real life. That's why they say stupid shit like "just because it isn't real doesn't mean it isn't real!" or whatever. They're kids, and they think the whole world is just what's on their phone. Cartoon porn and badly written slashfic is the biggest thing in the world for them.

In case you didn't know, they're not actually in favor of freedom of speech. I grabbed a bunch of screenshots very early in this thread of shippers proclaiming if you are not pro ship you are anti vaxx and that TERFs should not be allowed to stand for women's rights. They are absolutely for speech laws and content regulation - albeit for them and them alone.
