What you guys need is a poison dark type to deal with with those fairies, like Drapion or Skunktank

I thought about getting a Drapion, but eh, I like my Scolipede better. Besides, isn't Dark weak to Fairy?

Yeah, but the Poison makes it neutral. Dark's also immune to Psychic, so you can avoid that weakness. You'll only have a Ground weakness now, but Fairies don't tend to carry Ground moves. Drapion would actually be a really solid choice.
But my girlfriend likes Arbok, so I chose that instead.

As for Vivillon, some patterns are absurdly sought-after. I'm not big on cutesy Pokémon, so i'm not all that fussed, but I can see why people would want them - it's like an international Unown hunt!

I have a Scolipede with Toxic and Venoshock, but the problem with that is that it takes two turns to do any real damage, and Scolipede is bad at taking hits, especially from Psychic type attacks. I've got an Aegislash with Iron Head if Scolipede goes down.

Venoshock isn't the best idea for something with such low special attack, on average Poison Jab outdamages it simply due to how much better its attack is. the 50 power differnce is negated by that by a very large margin between base 100 Attack and base 55 Special Attack, plus you don't have to keep reapplying poison after each kill. It also doesn't help that most fairies have much higher special defense than defense.

Finally got Pokemon X... I must say, this entry really feels like it refreshed the series. Training and raising pokemon is really fun with all the mini games and Pokemon-amie...

Well, if you have a rare Vivillon pattern, you can get pretty much anything you want for it. People are going crazy over those.
