I -think- what they are trying to do is compare this to how back in like the 90's you could get Disney movies for cheaper from some shady fuck on the street and said movie was just some faggot recording the entire thing on his camcorder in the movie theater so you could hear shit like crying babies and people getting out of their seats while the audio would sometimes be muffled to holy hell. Apparently buying anything from them was considered illegal because those same people were part of some gang or crime group.

It literally never occurs to these faggots that their anti-piracy messaging can result in people just saying "fuck it, I'm not paying for it and not even going to try to watch it anymore, fuck your shit I'm out" and opting out entirely.

The last time I was in a movie theater was when they genuinely tried that "You wouldn't download a car, would you?" I have never set foot in a movie theater since that day, specifically because of that insult (and many other actions and laws, of course). Fuck them. FIFA wants to try to drum up excitement in Americans for their "product" but act as draconian as the NFL and NBA do concerning streaming? Fuck 'em. People are walking away from the NFL's and NBA's bullshit too. FIFA's no different and we can do just fine without it too.
