Phil "I Wish Gaming Was a Building So I Could Burn It Down With All of You In It" Fish is back and he has a new game he claims is going to be super great, with some of his insane cliquester friends. And surprising exactly no one, it rips off an existing game (two here, as it resembles both Rez and 3D Tetris).

Thankfully the comments section of the vid is already a bloodbath:

No idea why this particular shithead decided to poke his head above water, but I'm glad we have a second opportunity to mock him, because a chimp-out from him is as predictable as the tide.
 
Isnt Phil Fish the guy who made Fez and had a massive chimp out during the development of its sequel? That Phil Fish?

I'm sure a developer renowned for his explosive temper and massive chimpouts making an indie game for speciality hardware won't in any way find a reason to complain.
 
Fish claiming this idea of his is new is based on nothing more than not knowing there are other games that beaten him to the punch. The only thing that could be original is being VR-based and even then, if the Virtual Boy counts as a sort of VR, the devs of the Tetris game it was made for beaten him to the punch. Guess being a DJ whose picture had semblance to the Iconoclast didn't pay well.

Also, here is something @Jaimas shared with me in regards to Fish in regards to Fez 2.

What makes this funny is that Fish only cancelled Fez 2 because some guy in a gaming podcast called him a tosser. A /v/ board only picked up on this like everyone else.

Child of eden and REZ are the wet dreams of "artistic" game dev, sadly they fail to replicate the talent of mizuguchi in this aspect, he is one of the few that can mix artistic gaming with kick ass gameplay

Edit: corrected the thing about his retirement,he is going to release Rez Infinite for playstation vr (pc when?)

ignoring the dev behind it for a moment, the game itself looks just plain bad. the visuals genuinely made my eyes hurt from that small clip, there's no real reason to use the vr as it's not like puzzle games are really an immersive experience, and it's an idea that's been done multiple times before. although taking into account the whole fez 2 thing, it's unlikely to last long.

Being a DJ wasn't bringing Fish enough money. The moment he sees comments that don't kiss his ass can be the moment he flips out and spergs on Twitter, calling out gamers for not liking his game and possibly thinking it is all a GamerGate conspiracy that is against him.
