I found a bunch of samplers I'd forgotten about, including Armani Attitude. I really wish I'd tried Attitude when I first got these samples, as it's an absolute banger of a cologne that's since been discontinued. Warm, woody and complex. There's a reason why sellers are asking $300+ for 50ml bottles.
Dua Brands has a clone of that.

I liked their rendition of LV Imagination, and they made a pretty good Tom Ford for Men Extreme (mmm...truffles), so this might be worth a shot if you're ever in the mood.

This is perfume adjacent cuz I bought it from Bath and Body Works but I got a Lavender Vanilla scent thing for my wall diffuser and it smells REALLY good. Maybe I'm just a sucker for this scent, but I would buy like five more of these next time I go to the mall.

And reccs for an allergy friendly perfumes or lotions? I was okay with BodyShop Black Vanilla until it started to give me a headache/asthma. I just want smth that smells nice and not give me a blinding headache :(
That might require knowledge on what your asthma triggers are. Is it possible that the spray format is causing it? You could try a perfume oil from Kuumba Made, called Persian Garden, or Nemat Amber (just Amber, not Musk Amber), which are very similar. Note they are very light - it requires body heat for you to smell it. Maybe that would be a decent starting point?

Nemat also makes Vanilla Musk in both a spray and oil format you could try.

Found out that Jubilee Fragrances does a dupe of my beloved and discontinued Baby Rose Jeans so I’ve ordered myself a bottle to try. Their duplicate of Matcha 26 is one of my favourite daily wear perfumes, and I’m hoping that their Baby Rose Jeans is as close to the original as possible.

Why? D: Is it because you really like coffee? Which coffee frag did you get from them?
I will likely kick myself later, but Brown Sugar Vanilla Latte. I have been really cold lately and drinking gallons of coffee. I don't really drink sweet coffee so it's even weirder. Maybe my subconscious thinks I can just sniff myself and warm up.

You can also try Hermès Terre d’Hermès Intense EdP, which has a coffee note that hangs around for the duration of the scent profile. It's more like unbrewed coffee, though.

I am debating buying a coffee scent from Black Phoenix Alchemy

Hmm...

Let’s put this pussy-grabbing, racist, predatory, misogynistic, hateful, irresponsible, ignorant, immature grotesquerie out of politics for good, and do what we can to ensure that he and his ilk never cast their miserable shadows over our political process again.

You could probably skip that shop and no one would care.

Also, it's charming that this person wants to launch a revolution, but can't even align HTML elements.

Any opinions on Alien Extraintense? I can't find it anywhere in local stores. I'm a big fan of most Alien flankers and this one seemed especially promising to me, but it just so happens that I can't test it. I love the good ol (and new) Alien, smells beautiful, gentle and ladylike to me. Like a warm jasminey hug. I'm pretty sure I'm the minority in that because I just can't see it as a bad bitch perfume.

Yeah. The owner is a piece of work (wrote a whining article about how schools are bad because they don't teach combined Philippine-Jewish people about their particular heritage) but the community is pretty nice and sometimes the scents are good.

Thanks for the recommendation though.

Got a sample of Chronotope's Spite and I adore it.

An olfactive inverse of its sulking sister perfume, Spite EdP explores our actively destructive expression of its titular emotion through sharp, spiced rose thorns, a garden in flames, synapse-snaps of jasmine, an unstoppable acid-green galbanum fireball, and a prickly, spindly heart of green artichoke absolute.

Way back when I joined this site I was reading this thread and saw somebody recommend the Elizabeth Arden green tea perfume for bergamot enjoyers.

I bought it and it is my daily favorite now, and the frugal price is also a major plus.

Aggressively green. Not a typical clean or mossy green. I forgot to drop the notes:

Allspice, Red Thyme, Guava Leaf, Nasturtium, Green Carnation, Molle Jasmine, Peony, White Rose of York, Orange Blossom, Galbanum, Artichoke, Katrafay, Green Sacra Frankincense, Rose Vine & Thorns, Spikenard, Ruh Khus Vetiver, Hawaiian Sandalwood

If you really want to smell and feel spite, I'd suggest picking up a decant of Imaginary Authors' Bull's Blood. (Either version.) The spite comes from within, along with the regret and remorse.
I do have a sample of Bull's Blood from an Imaginary Authors sample set years back. I used it to spritz letters I handwrote for my players when I ran a Vampire: The Masquerade campaign. Still not as bad as Zoology's Tyrannosaurus Rex.

I sprayed this on myself once. I went so fast to the bathroom to try and frantically wipe it off my skin. Good god that was overpowering.

Been getting addicted to Paco Rabanne 1 Million Elixir. Not the normal one, the weird offshoot scent. Goddamit. Can't even get travel sizes of it.
Hmu. I have a 6.7oz bottle and can sample you off some.👍🤪

(Normal sized 1 Million bottle for scale.)

Well...now I have to try this.

That'll at least give me another reason to wear my favorite t-rex shirt...

Any opinions on the classic Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male? It was a favorite of mine when I was younger.
In fact I still wear that probably the most out of any; when I bother to even wear a fragrance...
  1. You should always wear a fragrance. I am always surprised how many people I pass by in a shop, on the street, etc., that smell like they rolled around in a musty dustbin before heading out.
  2. Le Male is popular for a reason: it's damn good. The fact that it's still going strong and has had many amazing flankers should reinforce that notion.
  3. If you're onto barbershop scents, I'd recommend getting a sample of MDCI Parfums' Invasion Barbare. It's a confidence boosting scent (which is hard to explain) that will redefine how you think about fougères. (Note: Dua Brands also does a clone that's pretty darn good.)

Here I'll just come to your house so you can douse me with it then I'll retreat back into the night.
