I would imagine they have to work actual jobs bc they really just dont make content and their patreon doesnt pull in much. At this point anyway. They may have had like a year or more of independence to work full time on shit but didnt finish anything and instead started like 3 different projects.
Dominoids couldve been monetised by releasing for a few bucks on steam if that was the case but nah it was free, so maybe that undermines my theory. Either that or personal beliefs about free software took precedence over idk making money to support the 2 games they started lol
