I'm not sure why, but when I was in bed last night I started to wonder how much Dave capitalized on Friday Night Funkin's period of explosive popularity. I can tangibly see how much the Kickstarter has, but I was thinking more like merchandising an such. Compared to other OneyPlays adjacent big successes like Smiling Friends and even Amazing Digital Circus, Dave should have complete control over the IP where as those probably have big chunks if not the majority controlled by Adult Swim & Glitch... FNF as far as I know is truly independent in it's purest form. Is Dave set for life, or did he squander it in it's peak?
