It's just pointless trying to argue with them about anything. When I was doing my masters degree, a girl in my accommodation was trying to talk about abortion. This then caused a near spastic meltdown, like she was legit glitching. In the end she screamed at me that she "IS A SCIENTIST!" and stormed out. She was an archaeology grad. The next day I've got three other girls bitching at me, and telling me I need to be nice to her. Like, fuck off.
It depends. If it's rape by someone like a family member or spouse or someone that's in constant contact with the victim, that CAN and DOES happen. If it's a one and done incident, then normally women psychologically break themselves. I don't mean that in the sense that it isn't the rapist's fault, but there's a thin veneer of safety in society that's permanently ripped off. The rapist may never ever enter a victim's life again, but that doesn't mean she won't imagine him at every turn of a corner. Normally a victim in that instance will drive herself insane and paranoid to the point of psychosis and even psychosomatic problems. The theory behind it is women developed this response to that form of trauma as a survival mechanism because in Unga Bunga Days there was no justice system to hold them accountable. You either submitted or risked being killed or other physical harm.
