This guy dedicates his entire YouTube channel to talk about his experience with addiction and homelessness. Good for him to get out of it and being honest, just wish he'd be more harsh towards the perpetual gibsme homeless since he was around them.

To a certain degree you are right since a lot of gibs homeless do not want to get out of their situation. Be it just being in the streets, drugs, alcoholism or whatever. But at the same time i'm torn on it since i know some of them really try to get out of the situation. It's hard to judge the situation in general since some of the people caught in it really deserve the help.

I'll put an example of both. The first is a guy in a city close to where i live. The guy is called "the hobo king" and he got a law degree. But in College the guy fell into drugs and by the end of his career he was really hooked on heroin and coke. He spent 2 years in the street trying to overcome his addiction and improving his situation by himself since he doesn't want to be a burden on his family. He gets gibs but the times i've seen him are the bare minimum of help like getting warm meals and going to a shelter in winter.

The second ones i hate with a passion. They are a small gang of semi-homeless guys in my town (they have a makeshift house). They are more or less together and they prowl the streets looking for handouts, free smokes and food while 2 of the 5 get gibs on top of 1 getting money from his mother. A few of them stalk the ATMs to intimidate old ladies and people into giving them some money as they withdraw cash or wait by the exit of the supermarket to get spare change. They do nothing but smoke weed and get drunk on the regular. A lot of people are getting seriously fed up with them and in other times these people would have been driven from town under threat of a beatdown.
 
Them: "Why don't you want homeless people to have dogs?"

Me: "This is why!"
