Most of NC's cities carry the population and are fairly liberal so it's not shocking if all the cities voted blue but the boonies didn't that Joe still gets the state.

I was bored so I'm looking at the TX counties. It's interesting that the red counties have way higher leading percentages than blue counties. I.e. the panhandle is very red, up to the 80%s or even 90%s. Meanwhile the blue counties are barely leading, most lead is like 72% blue (Austin area obviously).
