  1. Our society has become increasingly openly sexualized. It is viewed as normal and even good by the urban monoculture to be ‘sexually liberated’.

Images that have a sexual tone get more attention, so perhaps natural escalation of this may be becoming your own pornographer, but there is also the component of access that sleazy men have now to almost anyone; There is no shortage of groomers sliding into the DM’s of minors, corporations do the bare minium to cover their own asses legally, but often are revealed to have employees actively participating in the grooming behaviors.
  3. Also economic reasons; if there was no promise of money at all then it would be at least marginally less appealing but I can’t say how much of a factor it actually is.
It is as though we have structured our society into a machine whos sole function is to produce porn above all else.
