Accurate. The "look at our heckin' based niggerino!!1" meme is at least as obnoxious as left wing nigger worship. The thing with nigs is the left's allliance with them started off as just a pragmatic way to defeat the common enemy of conservative whitey. You can see this in the attitude displayed by that LBJ quote that went something like "we'll have these niggers voting for us forever" basically acknowledging the Great Society was just buying black votes with gibs. Then over time as that left-black alliance solidified and formalized it turned into actual unironic nigger worship.

Similar to how a lot of this shit starts off a certain way then goes insane over time, i.e. "maybe blacks are humans too" given enough time and road to run turns into "we must exterminate whiteness" and shit. People will take a certain position based on temporary convenience then just maniacally follow that position straight off a cliff no matter how retarded it becomes because they've committed to it and become emotionally attached. A right wing example would be "freeze speech absolootism" where you will end up with lolberts unironically defending drawn CP (and sometimes just CP straight up) because muh freeze speech.

A lot of cultural degeneracy can also be associated with this pattern, although obvious there are other factors too, but for instance we have a couple generations of people that basically just got annoyed with conservative Christianity and decided that the complete opposite of total unfettered sexual degeneracy is therefore completely fine instead, because no matter what they just have to always keep siding with whatever makes their conservative Christian parents mad. That's why slightly above average thinkers like Sowell and judges like Thomas are held up as geniuses for the ages, to say nothing about the absolute mediocrity of black Republican politicians (Herman Cain lol) or worse, pundits like Candace Owens.
