No, Nick's actual "plan" is entirely dependent on other people running for office while proclaiming their loyalty to him and AF. As always, he'll let someone else do all the heavy lifting, then he'll take the credit.

That strategy you're describing is an actual thing in politics, its often called being a "kingmaker". But it only works if 1) you have significant political influence to begin with, and 2) if you have enough public respect that proclamations of loyalty to you would be advantageous to others.

It's a legit strategy but it requires you to already have political influence and public respect. Anyone with half a brain can see that a couple thousand subscribers to a stream channel, a few dozen worshippers in the chat, and a subforum on kiwifarms full of people compiling evidence of every stupid thing Nick and his friends have said, is not going to allow Nick to make the cut.

Do you honestly think he is on the verge of success? Serious question.

I would argue he did worse than go nowhere. He dug himself into a hole, between the grifting, myriad hypocrisies, barely closeted faggotry, fed investigations, frequent and public association with retards, and all the other personal trainwrecks.
