A lot of black women fuck up with their hair too. Excessive use of tight braids causes the follicle and eventually the root to die. That's why you see so many black women walking around with troon hairlines. Their sacred ancestral hairstyles which they don't want whitey stealing are making them go bald.

turns out it's okay to harass them non fucking stop like a screeching harpy, so long as it's online and you can claim that you were offended (secretly of not being able to pull off chix with dix half as well - a fetish/style that's literally decades old by this point).

I actually really liked a diary entry from the last Fallout: New Vegas DLC Lonesome Road, where Ulysses (a former tribal of a tribe called Twisted Hairs - one guess why) recounts how the tribals he trained started to worship and emulate him by braiding their hair...and he's utterly disgusted by it, because they're just doing it for the looks and there's no meaning whatsoever behind the way they do their hair at all, like it was with the Twisted Hairs. all that shit does is insult the memory of his long-dead tribe.

and that's the thing I always think of whenever I hear about fuckheads yelling 'culturual appropriation' nowadays, be it hairstyles or anything else. motherfuckin' hypocrite, YOU are the one that's appropriating this bullshit to begin with from whichever long-dead culture came up with it and using something as BS as the color of your skin as justification!
