The story behind the infamous Ron Paul newsletters from back in the late '80s is a pretty interesting one. All mixed up with the broader attempt to create an alliance between Paul's libertarians and Pat Buchanan's paleocons, which eventually led to the failed but highly influential 1992 Buchanan presidential run.

This isn't localization. This isn't even that fancy new "culturalization" that got trotted out a few years back. This is someone on the translation team taking liberties with someone else's work, using his power to inject his own ideas into the dialog. Whoever made this change should be fired for gross incompetence, and whoever hired them should be fired for similar levels of incompetence.

Neoxon is my personal lolcow on Reee. After complaining that there are no black people in Smash for 5 years straight and getting BTFO with the most recent announcement, he’s resorted to stalking voice actors on twitter.
Also it’s pretty funny seeing Reee coping with Sony not getting any future output from Bethesda. They still believe Microsoft will put games on their direct competition.

II - Claiming no one on Era/Gaf aknowledge Paul's existence ? I mean :
That was one of their most appreciated moderator and one of the most famous poster on Neogaf.
Two of the most overused gifs back on Neogaf and they're still being used on Era quite frequently.
Ron Paul is one of the most famous politician around the gaming web, but somewhat, in a fucked alternative reality he needs Nepenthe and her small gang aknowledgement.
III - Claiming not to care about Ron Paul, but spending a good amount of time commenting on him.
IV - Saying empathy requires energy (lol), but still spending that so called rare energy on many posts to blame people from showing some.
V - "... when a bunch of minorities are saying a person who had a health episode is instrumental in furthering their opression". What kind of nonsens is that ? The stroke is opressing you, that's what you're trying to say Nepenthe ?
VI - Says her father died from the same problem and still can't feel a thing when she sees a human being having a stroke. Psychopath material.
VII - Still manage to bring the problem back to white vs black.
