Other than agreeing that HG101 has gone downhill severely over the years, I can also sperg about this time I once tried to send a simple correction (they said Earthquake wasn't in any of the Samurai Shodown home ports) into HG101 and after it wasn't fixed six months later I wrote them again and got an e-mail back saying to stop spamming them with wrong information.

This was easily over ten years ago.

I still cut myself over it.

This bums me out so fucking much.

The amount of passion and enthusiasm it must take to do such work is amazing, and you genuinely want to share something with others and make it accessible to them, but what do you get after years of hard fan work? Some insane fucking faggots don't like the word you've used (which presumably was a correct translation!), but they love flaunting their power over susceptible people (read: people that don't want to tell them to fuck off) on the Internet.

I work in translation myself, and I know what it's like to have a passion project that you want to complete even though you have a job and a professional commitment to other translation and text work, so seeing this guy get shit on by those cunts hurts me fucking deeply. What a sad bunch of "people" these abominations are.
