Hmm I think that objectification is too harsh in certain cases. I am fine with fan service, although fan service can turn into objectification sometimes. I'm one of those who doesn't like the >implications behind the term, but it's 100% appropriate. Fans, as in the consumer culture rightsholders want, are rabid and perpetually horny, especially if we're talking anime - no one sane is going to buy truckloads of merch or celebrate character birthdays. The "best" consumerist fans are those whose identity is tied to the product. This means sex drives, too.

I prefer MGSV's or Wolfenstein's version of "very easy" modes: the option is there, but the game actively mocks you for picking it.
Or, yes, if they just call the easiest difficulty "game journalist mode."
Credit where due, Tecmo and Team Ninja pioneered this with the easiest mode in Xbox Ninja Gaiden.
