Some guy made a thread about screwing with their conservative parents' TV settings to remove conservative channels like Newsmax and FOX News. I don't know how these people continue to think they're the "good guys" when they have to resort to stuff like this. Can you imagine how little respect these people must have for their own parents to dick with them like that? Even if my parents were loyal CNN/MSNBC viewers I wouldn't go behind their back to limit their channels. There was a line in a song by the National that went "I read the foreign news to understand my nation" which always stuck with me. It's of course about echo chambers, perception, perspective. Even if it infuriates you or boils your blood, it's always at least interesting and potentially challenging to at the very least glance at alternative editorial sources.
