Oh, wait, except ResetEra may have been the primary location where the outrage was occurring, so much so that Robin (a mod) literally went to twitter to continue to be outraged. Many of these videos about the "fake SJW outrage" highly featured and spotlighted Robin's tweets as an example of SJW outrage.

I have been browsing Neogaf for a while as I heard most of the liberal sjw nuts have moved over to resetera. While that may be the case, holy shit, its still just as toxic.
I think gaming communities in general are just cancerous. There is no such thing as a level headed discussion without some child getting triggered.
Gaming media and developers are just as bad. They lack any sort of professionalism to be taken seriously, with constantly insulting their fan base and customers on social media and involving political bullshit into everything.

Seeing how the Doom Eternal stuff must be "fake outrage" to these guys, it makes one wonder if it's just a sort of confirmation bias. While anti-SJW's would no doubt take Doom Eternal seriously, it makes one wonder if this is also just trying to skirt around SJW spergs that literally thought Doom Eternal was some means of courting alt-right spergs. Then again, since the fake outrage is done as a video by the Shaun guy, it makes one wonder if this is all really just one of those attempts at "owning x".

I'm really starting to hate gaming communities as a whole. I miss when it was just buy the game or don't.Not some weird political signalling.
Also on a related note i think they are trying to switch the narrative.They are trying to pull the good old "We where not really outraged you are the ones that are." It's not like the spering that went on at restera was anything but healthy discussion. Everything else is just Fake News told by the Alt Right.

ResetEra userbase is losing their shit over the new changes. The board change is legitimately bad. All the complaints about making the thread listing a mess is totally valid. This essentially is an attempt at making a containment zone for all the dumbassery that's impacting their reputation as a forum.
I am unsure that it will work, the mods' behavior is clearly part of the problem, and to be frank, it's far better to just excise the politics part of the site, as it only brought issues and moderation headache with no real value addition.
I have a feeling that this could turn out to be a move to force the troons squad to move to the new offshoot Cream talked about on The Bore.

I love that they're even just openly admitting they think the mods are bad at moderating. Also what's with Not's first post here? I'm reading this right, right? He's legitimately buttmad because he feels like they're squirelling away the politics so everything can't become a super political discussion?

Yeah, i get why they don't like the change, but i don't get the leap between separating "srs bsns"/poor hygiene/outrage megathreads and TV series and the many fastfood threads and how it makes the mods Literally Hitler™.
