ResetEra is a perfect hallmark of this mindset - 'Vote with us or you're a shitty person.' Which has been repeatedly followed by, 'You shitty people didn't vote with us! How could you?' The problem is never with the message, or the policies, or any of that - it's always just 'Everyone's bigots except us.'

Fuckloads of the people who voted for the Tories loathe Boris Johnson. He's a hateful human being, so I get it. But people expect to hate their politicians and that they'll lie, so they'll vote for someone they hate because they're not actively attacking them at every point and at least saying they'll enact policies they want, rather than the people who are saying they want to make policy they don't want.

And of course, at the centre of it, are troons, whose demands are the current front of the culture war, and who are the first to claim that everyone's out to murder them if they don't get exactly what they want. The UK has given way too much social capital to much less than 1% of the population, and places like ResetEra and Something Awful assume people are voting out of hate, when in fact they're just voting for their rights over the rights of troons, who hate them anyway.

Considering how many of them are narcissists, they just can't stand that people are indifferent to their exaggerated claims of victimhood. That most people don't care to make LGBT rights, heavy emphasis on the T, the single issue they vote on - except that there are people, the modern version of the fabled 'soccer mom', which is probably 'mumsnet poster', who will explicitly not vote for anyone (like the Lib Dems) who make troon affirmation a tentpole of their policy.

ResetEra are so polarised in their thinking, so unable to see shades of grey, that they think anyone who doesn't believe what they do is at best malicious, but usually a generic hate-filled bigot. Classic SJW hypocrisy, hating millions of people because of mind-reading them for being full of hate.

And if there's one clear thing about the troons and handmaidens of ResetEra, it is that they are brimming with hatred and love to spread it out in the world. It's why it's funny that they're powerless, because they desperately want to bully the world and they get frustrated because they're all a bit shit.

It's great. They gathered like 5 minutes of "evidence" out of the I imagine around 75-100k combining all of their videos at this point and then relentlessly reeeeee about them literally being Hitler. Rich Evans did fake Chinese in the heat of the moment after being handed a phone and told to come up with something while Schreier choose entirely of his own free will to slap a sticker saying children should die on his face and it's the latter that's perfectly acceptable. There's no consistency behind it, they just choose which people can be forgiven past indiscretions and which can't. HBomberGay stanned a rapist and used to run with Mekotur but he's ok. Dan Olsen downloaded and shared what he believed was illegal pictures of children which would have broken numerous laws just so he could own an internet website he didn't like but we're gonna post his videos anyways. Even the fucking site owner himself has his library incident. You couldn't make this shit up if you tried.

The funny thing is that the overall message of the Captain Marvel review which Cheetos and the rest desperately ignore was that Disney (or any other multimillion dollar corporation) should not be celebrated for doing the absolute bare minimum progressiveness necessary to pander to dipshits. And then here's Era, a website filled with people unironically posting "EAT THE RICH" and crying about capitalism tripping over themselves to defend Disney for being "woke" because they have rich white women as the main characters (since that demographic is the only one that matters) which allows them to ignore the unwoke shit Disney does such as TLJ shafting its black lead character. I'm too lazy to dig it up but the one post where a dipshit goes "pandering is good actually" perfectly encapsulates their website.

The only thing Era hates more than bigots is self-awareness.
