All cable is. And streaming services only care about what new shows they can greenlight to attract new subscribers, not long term sustainability.
Sadly, we’re likely to shift towards the British model of television. Very short seasons, and probably cancelled after two.

People's hearts are becoming too hardered to produce good art anymore, we are all becoming evil people.

AT is still my favorite series from CN. Adventure Time, along with Regular Show and Gumball, really sparked an amazing era for CN. They kinda feel like the ending of the 90s - 2000s eras, fitting inline with shows like Johnny Bravo and PPG, and especially Chowder and Flapjack, while still being unique. The era really fell apart during the midpoint of 2010s, mainly due to Steven and TTG. Now I love TTG, but its clones are insufferable in comparison with PPG 2016 being beyond boring. Steven started off as if it would be a great like AT, but lost so much steam after Peridot came to earth. It just could not live up. As for other series, I barely watched. We Bare Bears seemed alright, I did not mind Clarence, and I have never watched anything else on that post.

You are correct about how CN treated AT though. The series, along with Regular Show and Gumball, got shafted hard come 2016. The CN community abandoned them to jerk Steven and CN just stopped all advertising. I also believe AT went on huge hiatuses in the second half, as I remember some random episode being released in October with no advertising and no episodes prior or after.

Never saw AT, I guess I should check it out.

But I did watch the first 3 seasons of Steven Universe and I know what you mean about a dip in quality after Peridot came to earth, the first thing I noticed is the animation quality gets worse and overall it starts to gradually feel a bit stale.

I'll go to bat for the first 65 episodes of Steven Universe being pretty good, but I'm not sure I care to watch the whole thing, especially hearing that people evidently didn't like the ending.

Sadly yes. Thankfully the movie got an actual budget which reflects in the shading and such and there's still some really good looking episodes in the actual series (so long as they're produced by SMIP and not the other studio Rough Draft which is responsible for basically any SU image being shitpost you see online). Weird too, since I remember them being great with Futurama in the early 2000's.

I remember a couple of years ago, we got Boomerang as part of a "here's some extra channels to try out if ya want" from our cable company, and when I was scrolling through I saw that Regular Show, Adventure Time, etc.., shows I remember when they were new, were playing on there and you can imagine how that made me feel.

When I was little I liked to watch really old cartoons, like Popeye, which would air on Boomerang, so I associate the channel with antiquity. Now it's a dumping ground for anything that isn't TTG.

You can also imagine how it felt when I saw the cheesy shows with 10-13 year olds as the lead characters (like Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn) were airing on Teen Nick.

My family controls the TV with extreme prejudice so I have not seen CT or Boomerang in awhile. I had no idea they turned Boomerang into a garbage dump. I used to watch it all the time. I guess they thought they'd get more viewers. But every channel eventually turns to trash. I learned that lesson early on with MTV and TLC. TLC used to have a lot of cool craft and home improvement shows. Now it documents gold digging mail order brides and human sauropods eating themselves to death. Oh, and a show about gross looking feet. Because that's a thing we needed.

Family Mash-Up (working title) – A modern day The Brady Bunch meets Pitch Perfect when a single mom and three sons and a single dad with three daughters fall in love and get married despite their kids being in two fiercely competing acapella groups. The music-filled live-action comedy is created by Michael Poryes (Hannah Montana, That’s So Raven).

Also, something called Tweety Mysteries, which I though was gonna be along the lines of The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, until I saw the blurb.

Tweety Mysteries (working title) – Tweety Mysteries is a hybrid live-action/animated adventure from Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Television that follows a curious tween investigative journalist and podcaster named Sydney and her sidekick Tweety bird. Working together the pair must solve various local mysteries in their small, quirky Washington state town.

So no, it's not just the movies. CN really are retarded enough to make the same mistake twice. All in the name of feeding the AT&T mothership.
