R1-R2 reasonably even but goes to DDP imo. R3 possibly to Strickland but man it's so fucking close. Why can't the nigger just realise he needs to pick up the pace?

Edit: Nose broke. Stricklandbros...
 
I'm really glad I didnt end up a UFC fighter. Not that I think there was any particular risk of it but god damn. If someone broke my nose I'm pretty sure I'd just be done. Much less trying to fix it between rounds.
This is the worst night of UFC in a while. Tafa falls down in one second. I think I am finally losing faith in fat samoans getting insane knockouts and doing funny dances. dark times
 
Staph infection sucks dick, man. He wasn’t teeping at all. Those antibiotics kill your stomach. He did great all things considered. Getting your nose rearranged, having staph, and still managing to have that gas tank? Strickland is very special.

Did you see his arm before the fight? He clearly has staph infection and fought like he was loaded up on pills. This is why UFC is a low tier sport. This card was an $80 PPV with mostly nobodies. And the main challenger on the card is a zombie from taking antibiotics. Too many cards are like this. And so many title fights are mediocre because the fighters get punished for pulling out.
 
I'm coping a little bit right now but at least I know that khamzat is going to break dricus by the end of this year
 
I've been a fan of DDP from his first UFC fight and long time Strickland hater but credit where it's due Sean definitely showed some serious toughness tonight (especially if he did have staph) and threw slightly more aggressively than usual, he really needs to change his gameplan though from playing defense and jabbing until the last half of the last round. Really glad Dricus took it home again, he deserves it more. I hope (but highly doubt) we get Strickland vs Whittaker once they're both healthy now that neither are likely to get another title shot soon, seems like a fight that should've already happened given where they've been in the rankings.
 
Strickland didnt invoke enough gamer-word energy before the match.

Dricus was very strong; seemed a little gassed before the nose break.

Sean had his usual cry fight face goin' on the whole time, but definitely was fatigued in some way. He had so many openings/successful fakes that I really thought he was "processing data" (lmao) during r1+2 and was gonna pour it on from there. It never happened...

Staph infection makes sense now along with the injection mark.

Nose break was some nasty stuff though, great wetwork for the final rounds. I am satiated.
