This is all your fault /co/, you just had to push the boundaries of pretending to be retarded and you attracted the ultimate in retardation and then let it breed.
In fact a lot of retardation on the internet revolves around taking 4chan seriously, Hillary and Pepe, Anonymous, Exploding vans, Kekistan going public etc.

First time posting, went to see the movie over the weekend.
I really want to say it wasn't as bad as I expected, but there were people calling out background characters names whenever they popped up on screen (thankfully this died out about halfway through), almost the entire theater was full of overweight guys in their 20s with pony shirts, someone brought a body pillow, and a few others brought plushies.
The movie itself was fun despite the audience. (Cute and well animated, and Sia's song was nice.) They tried to take group pictures in the theater and hold some kind of meetup afterwards though, so we got out of there real fast.

It was weird seeing literal bronies again since I hadn't seen them in the wild since around season 3-4.

This is why I decided to watch it online, in the comfort of my own home.

Bronies are angry at IGN for giving their girls' flick a poor rating.

"It can't be WORSE than the Emoji movie?!"
Who cares? You are already a niche group respective to your demographic. Just appreciate it and understand the disparities that come with it.

Pokemon fans did the same thing when IGN gave ORAS a 7.8 rating, although to be fair, "Too much water" is obviously a non-complaint.

There were no "too much water"-tier complaints for this review, so...

Lol

Someone claimed the film had a budget of 8 million dollars instead of 65. If true, the film could be considered a marginal success despite being such a laughable box office flop.

Meh. Blade Runner totally raped Phil Dick's novel. Fuck Blade Runner and fuck Ridley Scott.
Philip K. Dick himself loved the original Blade Runner and was intimately involved in its production.

On-topic: holy shit this is so virulently autistic I found myself halfway through buying a ticket to a train museum before I could regain control.

It's estimated at $5-8 million. Not sure how good this source is, but it's the one Wikipedia cited.

The data from boxofficemojo.com is down at the moment but supposedly back up in a "few minutes." I doubt there was much of an advertising budget, as the film is itself an advertisement. They usually budget these things conservatively and if they break even but they sell more toys, they're happy. Actually making any money on MLP at all was probably a surprise to Hasbro.
