Mega Rad Gun Thread

Why are you rocking an old school leather duty belt instead of a modern battle belt?
As the kids say "Aura". I've found that I only lose tiny bits of performance with a leather belt compared to nylon but it makes me feel much cooler and thus I actually wear the belt more often. I'm not using it "professionally" so I have plenty of time for leather care.

I don't understand why people want the mp7 when the TMP exists.
I have never owned one but I never hear good things about the b&t mp9s/tmps that are on the civilian market. PSA had a lot of hype going when they were going to release their mp7-but-in-9mm clone thing, but that seems to have been cancelled.

I used to have to wear keepers. Couldn’t stand them and went to a molle belt as fast as I was allowed.

I just want to shill Limbsaver Airtech recoil pads for shotguns. Reasonably priced, easy to install, available for most common models, and they really do make a difference. I had some buckshot recently that was much hotter than I was expecting, and today my shoulder only hurts a little!

My kore belt finally gave up after I don't know how many years.
I can still wear it but you can definitely feel the spots where the inner stiffener is broken.
Using my back up Blue Alpha Gear hybrid Cobra till I decided if I want another kore.

An FRT on a SIG SAAR P320 sounds like a lethal combination, and not in a good way. Talk about taking your life into your own hands.

Picked up my Python today. Pretty happy with it, but I definitely have some personalization to do. Needs the boot grips replaced with full-size grips, and I will be upgrading the rear sight, probably with Kensight adjustable tritium sights to match the tritium front sight my Python came with. I also ordered a reproduction of an SL Variant speedloader to see if the quality and function is as good as the originals. If it is, I'll end up buying two more. I'm going to try out a variety of loads for it. While I was picking up the gun I bought a box of G2 Research TELOS 110gr controlled fragmentation hollow points, and a box of Hornaday Critical Defense 125gr FTX hollow points.

This guy is my self defense Spirit animal (Detroit Urban Survival Training is a gem)

Finally gonna get my RPR scope mounted tomorrow (new picatinney rails and rings)

Plus got my trigger swap on my M&P set. Got the Glock style installed vs the hinge.

Damn...Krebs passed? He was king of American Kalashnikovs. I had some Krebs accessories in the past, including the mount/adapter that mounted VFGs on either the 3 or 9 O'Clock rail and at a slight angle to place the support hand at a more natural position to reduce fatigue. It also had a cut-out on it for the body of longer weapon mounted lights. Had it mounted to my old XCR and it actually worked pretty well, definitely more comfortable and natural feeling than a VFG mounted completely vertical on a 6 O'Clock rail. Real shame losing him. His work was top notch. Glad to hear he passed peacefully in his sleep.
