Hey fellas, is it weird that I'm far more into pistols than I am shotguns or rifles?

I have the basics covered on the rifle and shotgun front, but for some reason the rest of my arsenal is heavily weighted towards handguns.

What do you have that was made under new Colt? I've heard mixed reports but overall it does seem as if there's a trend towards less obvious QC bullshit.

This was totally an organic, legitimate collection. I mean, I can't count how many of us have pristine M2s and multiple M203s.

Not at all. I have a solid 5 digit figure spent on custom pistols alone and that's nothing compared to more than a few members here. Now of course I find out I love LR shooting more.

I have the new Anaconda and New Python. My other colt was made in the 1850s but I sold it to a museum.

I have never owned any Colt revolvers. Just two 1911s from them in the mid to late 2000s.

Edited to add: the Bodyguard is alright for the money. I'm not at all experienced with owning/carrying other pocket pistols so I can't give you a good comparison. I'll get a few different pocket holsters, carry it for a bit, and give you all a more experienced assessment. One thing I can tell you is that the slide stop on mine was fucking bank vault tight when I first got it. I had to lock the slide back and then press on it damn fucking hard about 100 times before it got to where I can with a lot of effort use either thumb to release the slide forward. Its accuracy is fine, too.

To be fair, garand clips are sold by the ziplock bagful at mildew smelling boomer gunshops. They aren't all loaded but it is fairly easy to find large lot sales of clips.

Any new S&W, .44 or not, is a coinflip as to whether or not you're sending back. @Romulus augustulus and I each have an Anaconda, but mine is in .44. Aesthetically there's blemishes but functionally it's great.
