Mangs slept with an cosplayer, they were both drunk. They both woke up in a compromising position and absolutely nothing happened between them. The woke crowd took this exactly as what you'd expect.

Now Mekkah and a few others had cut ties with their most successful co-host and Mangs is just winging it on his own after a few public apologies and getting his shit together. Now he's more successful than he was, earlier.
