I really love this, if I wasn't so cheap I'd go for it. Animal print (like whole animals not animal skin print) is amazing.
(plus she looks like Elizabeth Olsen and she's a p good actress)

I have this hat, it's one of my favorite hats. I know this might seem a little weird, but I like turning it and wearing the flower at the front in order to emulate one of those popular 90's Blossom hats. I wear it both the normal and my special way depending on the look I want.

How do you nerds take care of your hair? I've got hip-length hair, so I shower daily and use shampoo and conditioner, then brushing, and then I let it air dry. I used to blow-dry a lot, but it dries your hair out, so now I only do it if I'm in a hurry.

Shampoo, condition, comb straight, air dry, brush. I'm pretty lazy/low maintenance. I shower every other day unless I exercised or something. In high school I used to heat straighten my hair everyday. But then I learned to embrace my natural waves. I use shampoo/conditioner from the brands Acure Organics and Shea Moisture.

shampooing your hair daily is actually not good for you hair, nor is brushing it right after a shower unless you have one of those tangle teezer things or something else that's really soft on your hair.
Personally, I shampoo/conditioner every other day, and, since recently, started using a tangle teezer to sort it out after every shower. I generally stick with brands like tresseme and syoss. I'm not sure if it really makes that much of a difference, but it's mostly personal preference. Regardless, I do have really soft, straight hair, which I'm rather proud of, and while the latter is purely due to my genes, the former is probably at least largely a result of my caretaking routine.

I started cutting my own hair because I'm tired of spending $70+ at the salon. They tend to charge extra for longer hair and it never ends up how I want it anyway.

Finally, a thread to talk about all the girly shit I do and everyone else around me is too sick of to listen to!
1.) It's going to be my 3rd month of getting the ipsy bags, and I have not been disappointed by them yet.
I used to get cult boxes, which were 3-4 different bottles of nail polish +1 nail tool a month, but it went south after they started sending out their own line of nail polish and nothing else. I like variety, not just one brand if you know what I'm saying.
2.) I have thick just longer than shoulder-length hair, and it is my own personal nightmare to deal with. I don't wash every day because your hair does need some natural oils to stay healthy. However I usually use got2b oil licious shampoo/conditioner (http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/05/23/36/90/0005233690260_500X500.jpg) because while it's not a higher end product it has argan oil in it (and it smells amazing) after washing and gently plopping/towel drying my hair I use either hairdressers invisible oil by bumble and bumble (http://www.sephora.com/images/sku/s1438019-main-hero.jpg?country_switch=ca&lang=en) or Morrocan oil (http://s1.folica.com/img/product/0/...anoil-oil-treatment-three-four-oz-278x278.jpg) I let my hair air dry %95 of the time, and this way it doesn't become a giant poof and it's more tamed and easier to work with.
I think hair oil is magic, it has helped prevent my hair from further heat damage. There's also a really good lower end oil I used to use by fructis.

My hair is a giant, wild mop. Years of using dyes, bleach, and a flat iron have left it pretty fucked, sadly.
I cut about 3" off all over, use a moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioning hair mask about twice a week, and mist a little argan & jojoba on it. Honestly, washing 3 days a week (unless I'm drenched in sweat) has solved a lot. Air dry, use rollers (not hot), and boom, you're hella fabulous.
