He is also kind of much stronger..for the mana cost.

Ragavan has to hit to get the effect and has no evasion and even 1 on 1 you get double triggers.

Doom is a spell cast by Liches and shit that % kills you. If knock out is just unconscious it's like the Lich slipped you a roofie

This is great and all, but I’m just depressed because this may be the final nail in the coffin for the FFTCG. That game was fantastic but I guess there can’t ever be another card game except MtG, YGO, or Pokemon. Sorcery TCG looks like the next best bet and the art looks amazing.

Doom is a spell cast by Liches and shit that % kills you. If knock out is just unconscious it's like the Lich slipped you a roofie

How licherous. Sleep has its own status, but KO is really unconscious and dying. Dead or knocked out, a Phoenix Down gets them on their feet again either way, immersion be damned.

It's a magical item of life. For the living it revives and for the undead it purifies.

Regardless "ackshully they're knocked unconcious not killed" is dumb and just something to avoid a mature ESRB rating. Story logic is different from game logic. "Why didnt Cloud revive Eris with a phoenix down?" people are the same kind of people who point out the retarded stuff characters do in horror movies.

Regardless "ackshully they're knocked unconcious not killed" is dumb and just something to avoid a mature ESRB rating. Story logic is different from game logic. "Why didnt Cloud revive Eris with a phoenix down?" people are the same kind of people who point out the retarded stuff characters do in horror movies.

It is a localization issue the "Dead" status effect has always been "Ko" and revival stuff has only ever cured being knocked out and when things were being brought to the west they didn't ever make that distinction properly.

Sad that Kafka isn't a diplomacy commander so I can't do betrayal, but it's 3 color and lets you touch cards while making your opponents drop cards so he's probably playable

I wouldn't even say that...he is an actor.

He looks the way he does because he was playing a part, he needed to look over the top because Queen Bahraine is a fan of theater and would expect her weapons dealer to look strange, consider that she never one questioned that he might be holdind back on his top of the line weapons (the Mist Monsters and the fact he can outright take over summons)

Of course, the real answer is "Writer Fiat" but I really wish there was any sort of hand wave like "Sephiroth used one time only soul magic to yeet her soul directly" or "Sephiroth shoved her body in a conveniently placed running wood chipper" or even the Bad End FF6 Shadow logic of "Not enough time, also the world just ended"
