He's definitely an autistic shitlord but I don't really see any "brutal harassment". Tolarian Academy made a best of video (I timestamped past the sobby part in the beginning), so draw your own conclusions.


Aside from him being an asshole, the only real accusation here is the ever present "I get hundreds of death threats from his followers but I can't show you any of them" that you see in any case like this.

Thanks for the link. But I gotta say... That's it? That's the sum total of what Neckbeard Media did that is presumably getting him some sort of ban from the game? Bill O'Reilly sperging on Fox News is harsher than that.
 
Sprankle is a cosplayer who thought she could get into a niche market of thirsty neckbeards. When she wasn't getting invites to major tournaments anymore (because you can only cosplay Liliana so many times) she started to just show up and demand appearance fees from tournament organizers. When that didn't work, she started playing game modes that infuriate 99% Of the player base (Flip it or Rip it). So when others start ripping into her for being a try-hard casual, she can just cry "I'm quitting cause HARASSMENT". Cue thirsty neckbeards rushing to white knight because she puts her boobs out at a GP, and you have what we have today.

TL;DR: Sprankle IS a glorified bikini model.
 
I should also mention that Sprankle is a regular guest on Tolarian Community College's YouTube videos, so him defending her isn't exactly transparent. He wants her to stay because hot chick in MTG videos = $.
 
This community went to hell years ago. I brought the following up in chat months ago because I believe the author is most certainly a cow. Basically a pretty decent dude made an off the cuff remark about a tranny who makes absolutely no effort to pass, and got the ban hammer. It's a pretty hilarious saga, and the comments for this specific article are pretty golden(or were, I don't know if anything was deleted).
