Edit, secondary question, for people who live in areas with "anti-slapp" laws, do those create some liability mechanism for the L.FJ stuff? Like in cases where the image is obviously fair use specifically.
If so then it might not be a terrible idea to unlock the thread with a "if you post that image you understand you might be sued and are on your own" disclaimer and allow him to dig himself into a legal hole.
Even if it doesn't, there's also an argument for doing it anyway. Let the building catch on fire so it turns into a large enough issue that other free speech groups start to take notice.

I agree, the Factorio devs never putting it on sale is really, extremely based. They actually raised it to $35 a few years ago, citing inflation and costs going up. A bunch of faggot tranny communists complained about this, because they don't have jobs.
Also the DLC came out in 2024, which is actually fucking massive, and on par with expansion packs from the 90s. It's the same price as the base game. So Factorio actually costs $70 today.
It's honestly one of the only games I can confidently say, is completely and totally justified in doing this. Factorio is perfection.
Version 2.1 is about to release, with many excellent quality of life updates.

6 months is a bit tight to learn much in welding. It'll get you started, don't get me wrong. The typical high school welding class rotates through the basics in one school year, which is a few months more. Really its retaining that muscle memory. Its less book smarts and more feel once you get into it. The first bit will be a lot of failure and frustration, and possible injury. We have a thread in Self Sufficiency on it.

Ok so I was wrong about it being a copyright strike, its a cease and desist from cygames: the company behind the umamusame horse waifu game.
And these are their rules
1. You can't make fun of the franchise with fanart
2. You can't draw porn of the characters
3 you can't draw gore of the characters (never mind the fact that they are race horses and some characters are based on horses who broke their legs and died)
4. You can't draw anything political about the animu horse girls
5. The horse girls can't do anything illegal
6. You can't draw the characters with other copyrighted characters
And 7. You can't make money off the characters
Basically cygames licenses the names of real race horses and if you break the rules they'll send you a cease and desist and or sue you.
If I remember correctly the only other entity besides smut artists that have dealed with cygames was PETA when they drew art of one of the horse girls with its leg broken and gored and the uma fags were bitching at peta and mass reporting the image.
