Some fun Patrick S. Tomlinson chimping out. The department of Health & Human Services (HHS) has been working with the USDA to develop the new food pyramid that just came out, along with the 2025-2030 dietary guidelines for Americans:
Deputy Secretary of HHS, Jim O'Neill, quoted popular sci-fi book Ender's Game in a recent tweet:
The enemy in this context, of course, referring to chronic disease and poor nutrition.
However, not all were pleased. Noted failed sci-fi writer and fat alcoholic Patrick S. Tomlinson had a melty:

Rick would much rather be a fat alcoholic slowly dying of high blood pressure and liver failure than make America healthy again...is what I would be saying if I were not currently enjoying prison for my felonious lies. For you see, Rick is actually healthy, hasn't gained a pound, and I will enjoy prison for insinuating otherwise!
Pat's blood pressure is "very easily controlled" because he's been on meds for 15 years:

I very rarely do business with convenience stores and haven't tried paying an Indian with one yet. I will report if something interesting happens in that regard.

The Pippa room is pretty creep kino with it's mismatched walls and stained/moldy carpet, but the house as a whole is a horrific treat. My favorite is the kitchen curio. They put spooky eyes on it to, I guess, make it look spooky but curved windows it makes it look like the curio's really surprised and excited that you're making breakfast.
I would love an explanation for why there's two refrigerators next to each other.

Knowing that Null picked PirateSoftware for Lolcow of the Year over Bossman felt like a betrayal considering how much he likes him. Predictable but very respectable results this year, there was just no way The Johmas wasn't going to take the top spot. PirateSoftware getting 2# was also good.
