In the 'Matthew Prince is a faggot' category, an IT consultant who got stuck picking up the pieces after israeli APT group CrowdStrike bricked a bunch of Windows machines put up an incredibly tame parody website calling CrowdStrike 'ClownStrike' with their logo morphing into a clown.

CrowdStrike maliciously DMCA'd him, and CloudFlare ignored said IT consultant's counter-claims and deplatformed him, forcing him to shift the hosting of his website.
 
The reason Safari being distinct from Chrome is worth noting is that it uses WebKit. This alone is not really that interesting, however, Apple mandates that all web browsers on iOS devices have to use the Safari engine, including Chrome, and the builtin browsers apps sometimes open to render a page. So, at the moment, Apple's frothing need to control their environment is actually gimping Google pretty hard as far as the mobile browser market.

This Safari-forcing by iPhones is the ONLY THING keeping back the enChromification of the entire damn web.

If Apple starts letting chrome without webkit on iphones, it's ogre for anything but chrome. The little-I internet will not be split by networks, but by browsers.

Josh asked me to post this here so others can use it and discuss changes. It's a template for making short videos of his streams. Attached is a template video which is just the background and an outro so it can be used in any video editor. There's also an overlay with the "mati.live" text and the date. It's attached as a Photoshop project but it can also be edited online with Photopea which is free. Here's an example edit I made that's using it:


The overlay needs the font Verlag, specifically
  • Verlag, Medium Italic for the "mati.live" text
  • Verlag Light for the date
  • (optionally) Verlag, Medium for the red "Mad at the Internet" text in the background
I didn't include the font in the download because I'm not sure what the license on it is but it's fairly easy to find a download of it. If anyone wants I can also provide the Premiere project file for the video.
